The Ocean Reef Marina development is a major coastal waterfront destination delivered by DevelopmentWA, one of Western Australia’s largest waterfront projects. As part of the public realm and foreshore activation works, Peritas provided structural engineering design, certification and construction support for a series of architecturally designed shelters delivering shaded community gathering spaces across the marina precinct.

Located within a highly exposed coastal environment, the project required careful consideration of wind loading, material durability, constructability, and the integration of modular building systems and rammed earth architectural elements. Peritas worked closely with the architect, contractor and specialist suppliers to deliver practical structural solutions that maintained the design intent while supporting long-term performance.
