Peritas were engaged to provide advice on the current condition of the cockburn cement jetty at Woodman point and to provide recommendations on remedial action. Our dilapidation survey revealed a jetty that was extensively corroded and thus no longer structurally adequate. Following the report we were engaged to implement changes to extend the life of the jetty by 40 years without replacing it completely. Existing piles were concrete encased, new head stocks were installed, main bearers and a new precast deck were installed.
