Following our success on the B17 Adara modular apartment building, Peritas were chosen to provide engineering to what will be the largest modular Hotel development in Australia.

Various challenges were overcome during the design process including the redesign of the modular connection details, modularisation of the concrete stair cores and acceptance by the fire authority regarding incremental collapse.

Structural redundancy modelling was carried out to prove the stability of the building during a fire event and the results presented in a report to the authorities.

Full earthquake spectral response analysis and finite element stability analysis were used on this project.
