Peritas provided structural and civil engineering services for the refurbishment of the existing grain storage sheds, to address corrosion of the existing claddings and ensure the structure regained its fully sealed capacity to allow for pressurisation of the internal space.

The existing splayed timber walls were replaced with precast concrete panels, designed to span between the existing structural grid on shallow foundations to avoid the water table.

The roof cladding was replaced with a new custom aluminium sheet that the contractor rolled on site in 25m lengths; the profile of which was designed by Peritas
