Midland Gate’s redevelopment is a major retail expansion project, undertaken by Vicinity Centres in the centre of Midland.

Peritas has worked with the project team since 2012 to consider all schemes to produce a viable, efficient and constructible structural form. The final structural form recognises the market construction trends and critical risk factors associated with the structural design.

The redevelopment includes (approximately) 10,000m2 of basement car park, 15,000 m2 of additional retail space, 6,000m2 of reconfigured retail space, 15,000m2 of roof stop car park (over retail) two suspended approach ramps, one with a 16m span!
