With the total of 1,400 lots, Honeywood Estate is the biggest development along the Kwinana Highway that was completed in the past few years in Perth. Covering an area of approximately 100 ha, the transport-oriented development predominantly consists of residential uses, providing a variety of low and medium density housing opportunities. Peritas Civil team was working close with Satterley Group to deliver this iconic development within allocated budged. The Honeywood Estate also includes a number of conservation category wetland areas which were proposed to be retained and enhanced as community assets, serving both a conservation and recreation purpose. The majority of these wetland areas connected via public open space links and corridors or strong road based pedestrian connections. Through ongoing consultation with the Water Corporation and EPIC Energy, the Peel Main Drain and the Perth to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline corridor which traverses the site have been utilised for public open space/ pedestrian corridors, facilitated by a proposed realignment to the Peel Main Drain and the improvement of the gas corridor. Peritas Civil has completed the design of the whole project and provided on going support during Masterplanning, design and construction stages of the development.
